About CNC Sheetmetal ManufacturingOur Story
CNC Metal Spinners, formerly known as Avis Metal Spinners, was established in 1983 as a small business operating in Moorabbin, Victoria.
As the business expanded it was moved to Keysborough in 1992 to a 350m2 premises. In those early days the traditional method of hand operated machines had been used. From here, the introduction of an automated metal spinning lathe had been purchased, this gave better accuracy and speed.
To enable the business to expand, we moved once again in 2005 to Hallam, this time to a state of the art 750m2 facility. With rapid expansion, CNC Sheetmetal was founded. This enabled us to diversify and give our customers a broader range of processes to offer them.
A few years later in 2010, CNC Sheet Metal and CNC Metal Spinners moved to an even larger premises of 2770m2 in size. This allowed us to accommodate a laser cutting machine, turret and multiple folding machines.
In 2017 we bought out the brand ‘Hallam Racks’ which we trade under the name CNC Manufacturing (Aust) Pty Ltd. ‘Hallam Racks’ has it’s established products of 19’’ server racks, data racks and accessories that are used by the IT and Data Industry.
With keeping all three entities in the one premises it gives more flexibility in our operations and achieving our customer requirements, cutting time schedules and reassuring quality standards.
